The Cyprus Germany Business Association (CGBA) hosted a public event on the 27th April 2023 entitled “Doing Business with Germany”. The event provided valuable insights, covering topics such as business culture, market trends, and potential opportunities.
There were addresses from the President of the CGBA, Stefan Nolte; Deputy Chief of Mission of the German Embassy Nicosia Dirk Roland Haupt and Michaela Balis of GTAI Germany Trade and Invest. The Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic, Irene Piki was a special guest and spoke about the how enhancing co-operation with Germany is a top priority for the new Government. An informative discussion followed amongst a panel of industry leaders namely Monica Coppetta, Demos Demosthenous, Marios Loucaides, Christian Gihr, Michaela Balis, Michael Pnevmaticos and Jovanna Yiouselli (moderator). The evening concluded with a networking cocktail reception, which gave the attendees a chance to connect.
