More than 120 people attended our Reception in Limassol on 27.09.2016!
A large crowd of CEOs of well-known companies, including the CEO of Hellenic Bank, Mr Bert Pijls, business owners, representatives of public bodies such as, for example, the Vice-Chairman of CySec, Mr Andreas Andreou, Mr Leonidas Paschalides, Senior Director of CCCI, and members of the Chamber of Commerce Limassol honoured our Networking Cocktail Reception in Limassol and made a great success.
The event took place at the Londa Hotel, which was a great host and provided a perfect environment and very considerate services.
The Networking Cocktail Reception in Limassol was honoured by the Minister of Transport, Communication and Works, Mr Marios Demetriades, who delivered a very interesting speech about the current involvement of German investors in the further development of Cyprus.
It was a special pleasure for us to be honoured by the German Ambassador to Cyprus, Mr Nikolai von Schoepff, who reconfirmed the active support of the German Embassy. Mr von Schoepff focused in his speech about the importance that Cyprus better positions itself as a hub of German companies in respect of their business activities in Middle East and North Africa. The German Ambassador expressed his desire for a soon solution of the Cyprus issue and pointed out the impact of a settlement on the entire island’s economy.
The President of CGBA, Mr Stefan Nolte, presented a successful and appealing presentation about the Association’s past, today and future, also informing about the Association’s goals and new projects.
After the speeches and presentations, the crowd enjoyed quality networking during the cocktail reception on the terrace of the Londa Hotel. Apparently, business networking among was so attractive that the event ended only at 23:30, despite the planned end at 21:30.
The event was successful also in respect of welcoming a substantial number of new members, some of them taking their responsibility as new Board members as well.
